Orhaniye is a perfect cove with its Kız Kumu (Girl Sand), high mountains, forest and green areas. Martı Marina in the bay and the fuel station next to it meet all kinds of needs. If you make a meal reservation at the marina, they don’t charge for a short-time mooring fee (this practice sometimes changes, so it’s appropriate to ask over the phone). You can also meet your need for shopping, waste water or water at meal time. You can anchor at the very beautiful and sheltered coves across the marina or be a stern on anchor. On the island in the middle of the bay (Kale Island) there is a castle ruin said to have remained from the Byzantines. The fact that the castle was built on the island is worth considering. When you enter from the marina towards the south, you will see the famous Kızkumu. You can reach and walk on this wonderful natural phenomenon with dinghy or swimming, but you must have sea shoes on your feet. In Orhaniye Bay, there are also restaurants with vaults, water and electricity facilities.
