Marmaris Port

Marmaris is one of the biggest districts of Muğla region and is one of the paradise coves of the world where two blues embrace among the mountains covered with forests (the forest area has decreased after the forest fire disaster in 2021). The harbor is very sheltered and it is difficult to stay anchored on the northern shores of the harbor in the southwestern wind. The coastline is lined with summer estates, hotels and restaurants, and beautiful beaches. In addition, the coastal walking path extending from the city to the İçmeler region contains many beauties. It can be moored to the shoreline, except for sea sports and swimming areas. There are many bays around the Cennet Island located on the south of the port and Yıldız Island located at the entrance of the port to anchor and be a stern anchorage. In addition to Marmaris Municipality Dock, there are Netsel Marina (with ease of refueling and sewage), Albatros Marina, Joya Del Mar Marina, Yacht Marin and Adaköy Marina. It is a large settlement that responds to all kinds of shopping, souvenirs, supply, repair, etc. needs.
There is a castle in Marmaris that was built in 1522 by the Ottoman Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. In this part, which is called Kale İçi, there are sympathetic shopping places, cafes and restaurants. All kinds of hospitals and health services are easily provided in Marmaris.
